You may have noticed some new text when recording a hole that you've played before...

At first glance, this might be some inconsequential information, but it should really help you figure out how to attack the hole... or NOT attack the hole.
If you see an average waste under 1, this is a hole you play well and can attack as usual.
If you see an average waste over 1, this is a hole you have trouble with and often double-bogey, and you might want to reconsider your (pardon the pun) approach to the hole.
Maybe you're always hitting driver in the trees on the right, requiring you to punch out to a distance outside your approach goal. A hybrid off the tee might give you better results.
Maybe it's a tough par 3 and you're always hitting it at sucker pins near water. Play it to the fat part of the green and take double out of the equation.
If you're a planner, and want to know whether to put the hybrid back in the bag, be sure to check out our new "Worst Holes" table on the Learn tab. It'll show you what holes you have trouble with.

Prior to this release, Wasted Shots was designed for you to identify waste after you play. But with this new release, you'll now be able to see and avoid the potential waste while you play.
